Hue n Cry for Sachin Tendulkar

Well since couple of dayz I am listening to lots of hullabaloo about Gilchrist comments on Tendulkar.  Lot of former Indian cricketers and so called cricket experts (whz his name Boria Majumdar I think so) are lambasting Gilchrist for his quotes in his autobiography.  Now what the hell is their problem with Gilchirst.  I am neither a big fan of Gilchrist or Tendulkar (even neither of cricket), but then people telling that Sachin has scored 12,000 runs and he is icon, so he cannot be dishonest.

Now what has 12,000 runs has to do with honesty, ultimately Sachin is a human being and he can be dishonest.  I have seen Gilchirst walking off more times compared to sachin whenever he is out on the field.  Neway Gilchirst was in better position compared to former cricketers and experts to say weather sachin had lied or not.  We just cannot lambaste him even when we are completely ignorant about the facts what happened in the field during the “Monkeygate” scandal.  I think INDIA is too chauvinist for their self made icons.

Get a life man !!

Gilchrist himself called Sachin and explained that how he was misquoted ..

Instead of praising Gilchrist, at least support our Indian guy when he is abused and defamed ..

We do suffer from 'fair-Skin Obsession' Syndrome .. Whatever white skin says, we believe it without any logic ..

@Soham,

Now you are "misquoting" me, LOL

Neither I am supporting Gilchrist nor Tendulkar, I don't know who is right n who is wrong. My point is why unnecessary noise is been created when Gilchrist points out Sachin to be dishonest.

Its matter for Sachin to make thing clears (or Gilchrist in this case), but we people cannot make hullabaloo saying he made 12,000 runs, he is a great player, he is an icon all this which has nothing to do with honesty.

In this matter, people made lot of noise and finally what came out, that Gilchirst was "misquoted" by press, so u see it was unnecessary of people of creating such a havoc.
